KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are investigating a double stabbing Wednesday night in the old northeast district.
Officers were called out just before 10 p.m. to the intersection of Independence Avenue and Tracy Avenue on reports of an outside disturbance.
A short time later, police were notified that a stabbing victim had arrived at an area hospital by a third party. Officers said the victim's injuries were life-threatening.
During their investigation at the scene, officers located a second stabbing victim. The second victim's injuries were described as minor.
No suspect information was immediately available.
