KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are looking for answers after they found a man shot to death in Kansas City, Mo.

Around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, police heard gunshots near Lexington and Prospect avenues.

Upon further investigation, they found a black man in his 30s suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot near Lexington and Garfield with no signs of life, according to a statement from Kansas City Police.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police that at least two people were running down Lexington shooting at each other.
