KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police are searching for answers after a man was fatally shot in Kansas City, Mo., Friday morning.
Police received the call after someone went to a home in the 4900 block of E. 22nd Street and found the victim's body inside. A 3-year-old girl was also in the home when police arrived. She is in the custody of relatives, according to police.
Police identified the victim as 45-year-old Alan K. Carrell, of Kansas City, Mo.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
