KASNAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Police are looking for a dark blue Nissan four-door passenger car that was involved in a serious hit-and-run crash at 38th and Olive off 71 Highway in Kansas City, Mo.
The accident occurred around 3 p.m., on Friday.
According to police, the victim was an adult male, between 40 and 50-years-old who was riding his bike eastbound on 38th Street.
Authorities then say a blue sedan coming northbound down Olive collided with the bicyclist at the intersection, throwing him up against the driver's windshield.
The driver drove another 50 feet, stopped long enough for the cyclist to fall to the ground, then continued down the road. He was last seen turning west on 38th Street.
Police are canvassing the east Kansas City area looking for the vehicle.
The cyclist was transported to the hospital with serious injuries and received a CAT scan, but is expected to recover.
