Police search for gunman who shot woman in the neck

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A woman was seriously injured after she was shot in the neck Thursday in Kansas City, Mo.
Police were called out to the 5600 block of Agnes just after 7:30 p.m. on a reported shooting. When they arrived, the found a female victim with a gunshot wound to the neck and lacerations to her face.
The woman was transported with serious injuries to Research Medical Center.
Police were searching for a man who fled the scene in a white Chevrolet Cavalier.
