KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A standoff with a shooting suspect in Kansas City inside an apartment building ended with the man’s arrest Friday afternoon.
Authorities were called about 10:30 a.m. to the area of 30th and Woodland on a shooting call.
Arriving officers found a man in the street with a gunshot wound. Emergency crews took him to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
“Evidence at the scene led officers to believe the shooter may be inside an apartment building in the area,” Sgt Marisa Barnes said in a statement.
The man was arrested just before 2 p.m.
