FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - A friend of both Kyle Flack -- accused in a quadruple-murder in Franklin County -- and of one of the men killed said he got text messages from the suspect about one of his alleged victims on May 3.
Investigators said the killings occurred between April 28 and May 6.
In the text messages, the friend, Andrew Helm, and Kyle Flack talked about Andrew Stout.
"I have not tryed (sic) to call Andrew but im sure he is ok," Helm wrote.
"I talk (sic) to him yesterday he finally got everybody out his house hes probably just laying low cant blame him!" Flack responded.
"That's cool. I just got off the phone with his brother they said he had been missing for a few days. Idk y they would call me," Helm said.
Flack is accused of killing Stout at an Ottawa farm. He's also accused of killing Kaylie Bailey and her 18-month-old daughter, Lana, as well as Steven White.
Flack appeared in court on Monday, but did not speak. He will next appear in court in July.
