KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A donor who wants to remain anonymous gave $2,000 this week to a reward fund for information about the murder of David Ruth.
Police found Ruth shot to death on June 30 in a house in the 4700 block of North Bennington Avenue in Kansas City. Detectives discovered guns, Ruth's pick up truck and other personal items were taken from the house.
The latest donation brings the amount of reward money available for information that leads to an arrest in the murder to $4,000.
