KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A robber wearing lime green dress shoes robbed a Kansas City Waffle House restaurant.
The robbery occurred about 2 a.m. Wednesday at 6840 Front Street.
Police said the man paid for his order and waited for an employee to open the cash register.
He put a hand under his shirt as if he had a gun and went behind the counter.
The robber grabbed cash from the register and threatened to shoot employees if they did not keep quiet.
No shots were fired and no one was injured, police said.
The robber was a black man in his 40's.
He is about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build, short hair and unshaven.
He wore blue jeans, a light-colored button up shirt and lime green dress shoes.
