KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A second man has been charged in the Christmas Eve slaying of Joseph T. Jones, Jackson County prosecutors said Friday.
Dalvin D. Johnson, 17, faces charges on second degree murder, robbery and armed criminal action.
According to court documents, Johnson and Adrian Botello lured Jones in order to rob him. When Jones resisted, he was shot on a public street on Christmas Eve. The murder occurred near 23rd and Van Brunt a little more than an hour before Christmas.
Adrian M. Botello has already been charged.
