SHAWNEE, Kan. - Shawnee, Kan., police are searing for a man who exposed himself in a local park that could be linked to a previous incident.
Authorities say the first incident occurred on July 6 when an adult female reported seeing a dark skinned, possibly Hispanic, male who pulled down his shorts to his ankles and exposed himself to her while walking on a trail at Garrett Park.
The second occurred on July 31 between 9 and 10 a.m. at the same park. Another adult female reported a man appeared beside her and when she looked at him, he was exposing himself to her.
According to a news release, the suspect is described as being 18-25, very tan or having a “Mediterranean” look.
He is described as being about 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. In both cases, the suspect was reported as wearing shorts and wiping sweat from his brow with his shirt.
