OLATHE, Kan. - The Olathe Police Department is sending out a stranger danger warning after a child was approached by a man in Johnson County.
On June 19, a 7-year-old girl reported that a white male in his late teens or early 20s offered her candy and asked if she wanted to see his puppy, according to a news release from police. It happened in the 16000 block of W. 160th Terrace.
The girl ran away from the man and reported it to an adult.
Authorities said the man drove a smaller, white 4-door car with tinted windows.
