KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Authorities are looking for two men who robbed a Kansas City jewelry store Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the men, who appeared to be in their 20s, took hammers to the glass cases at Lichenberg’s Fine Jewelry, 13137 State Line, and stole several items.
"Pretty odd, but we have some good information to go on," said Det. Jason Findley, who expects very clear surveillance photos to be released soon.
Police describe the first suspect as a white man in his mid 20s wearing a dark colored hooded jacket. The second suspect is also a white man in his mid 20s, who wore a dark colored jacket and khaki pants.
They fled the scene in a dull black, four-door Pontiac Grand Prix from 2000-2003.
