KANSAS CITY, Missouri. - A teen who led police on a high speed chase Monday now faces more charges.
Jordan Grimes was charged Thursday with assault and armed criminal action, in addition to several other charges filed earlier this week.
Court records show Grimes is accused of shooting a man May 29th at 50th and Bellfontaine. The victim's injuries were non life threatening.
Witnesses told authorities they saw Grimes take off in a stolen SUV.
Grimes and another teen were arrested on Memorial day after leading police on a high speed chase, at times with speeds well over 100 mph. The chase ended at 59th and Blue Parkway in Kansas City.
