KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A woman is in a local hospital Saturday in serious condition after she was struck by a bullet at about 2 a.m. while driving on Interstate Highway 435 near 63rd Street.
According to Kansas City, Mo., Police spokesman officer Darin Snapp, it is unknown if she was the intended target of the bullet, or if it was a random act. Her identity has not been released.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the TIPS Hotline, (816) 474-TIPS (8477).
