UPDATE | Man charged in stabbing of Olathe woman
OLATHE, Kansas - A woman is fighting for her life after being stabbed in an Olathe trailer park.
Olathe police said a passerby found the 31-year-old woman semi-conscious about 8:50 a.m. at Santa Barbara Boulevard and Palm Springs in the Santa Barbara Estates Mobile Home Park.
The victim suffered numerous stab wounds to her chest and back and was covered in blood. Her wounds were considered life-threatening, according to a statement from Olathe police.
Police say the woman is a victim of an attempted murder.
Olathe police have located a person of interest in connection to this attempted murder case.
The incident remains under investigation.
