HARDIN, Mo. - Fifty of the 250 students in the Hardin-Central School District are out sick with the flu.
The school will be closed Thursday and Friday for cleaning.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, the flu virus has spread to 47 states, sending more than 3,700 Americans to the hospital and killing 20 children. Officials say this is the worst flu season in almost 10 years.
