KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Three Missouri school districts will have new computer equipment to use in school next semester.
Representatives from the Adrian, Winfield and Kansas City Public Schools picked up the used computer equipment Thursday morning.
To receive the donated computers, schools submitted an application to the government's Computers for Learning Program.
"Teachers really have a need for more technology, and of course with declining revenues from the state, it's increasingly difficult for schools to afford the technology that enhances learning for our students,” said Adrian Schools Superintendent Dr. Kirk Eidson.
This year, the General Services Administration at the Bannister Complex donated over 550 used computers to area schools.
