KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) houses the modern day "library" version of a warehouse that looks kind of like the scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

Only instead of storing powerful biblical artifacts, UMKC is warehousing books with the help of a robot.

The "book robot," is a high-tech automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS).

About 15 other universities in the United States use a similar system.

Click on the YouTube video explaining the system.
