KANSAS CITY, Missouri - It’s never been done in the history of UMKC, until Thursday night.
The college received a $32 million gift from Henry Bloch.
The money will help fund a state-of-the art building to house the "Henry Bloch School of Management’s Graduate and Executive Programs.”
“Today employers want employees for entrepreners an that's what we're trying to promote, study and teach and to be ranked so high, it's a great honor," said Henry Bloch, benefactor to the school and founder of Kansas City-based H&R Block.
Bloch says the success of the Bloch School's Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is influencing his philanthropy.
