KANSAS CITY, Mo - The first ever KC Century charity bike ride rolls out on Saturday morning.
The ride is support cancer treatment, research and support in the Kansas City area. The beneficiaries are Children’s Mercy Hospital, The University of Kansas Cancer Center and Cancer Action.
KC Century features three distances, for every level of cyclist. The shortest distance is 15 miles. There’s also a 31 mile option and a 62 mile option.
Registration will remain open until ride day on August 24. Cyclists can also register on ride day starting at 6 a.m.
The start and finish line is at Washington Square Park near Union Station.
