KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Throughout the summer, children with arthritis in the Kansas City area created works of art with local artists. It’s part of the Kansas chapter of the Arthritis Foundation’s Art for Arthritis event.
More than 3,000 children in the Greater Kansas City, western Missouri area live with arthritis pain every day.
The art that the children and artists create will be auctioned off at a gala this Friday. Money raised goes to the Arthritis Foundation to provide resources for children with arthritis and their families.
The Art for Arthritis Gala is Friday, Sept. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Carriage Club in Kansas City, Mo. Tickets are $50.
