Tracy, CALIFORNIA - A California-based company announces a major recall of grape tomatoes.
Officials with Taylor Farms Pacific, Inc., say the vegetables might have salmonella. This applies to 29-kinds of packaged salads sold at six retailers.
The potentially tainted products have an expiration date from April 27th to May 9th. Thirteen states are affected by this recall, mostly in the west. Missouri and Kansas are not included.
Consumers with questions are advised to contact the Food and Drug Administration.
