SHAWNEE, Kan. - Many Kansas and Missouri businesses are taking precautions to help prevent the spread of the flu. Owners of Little Monkey Bizness in Shawnee, Kan., are taking extra steps to keep their business clean and stop the virus.

Employees at Little Monkey Bizness are cleaning door handles, railings and the play floor.  They are cleaning those surfaces before and after hours. Assistant Manager Aly Myers said employees are doing everything they can to prevent their young customers from getting sick and reassuring parents.

“We have hand sanitizer out because parents know flu season is around; we've actually gotten a couple of phone calls about it,” said Myers.

Little Monkey Bizness provides play areas for children.
