OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Nearly 100 Overland Park fifth graders took a school trip Friday to learn about their hearts.

Students from St. Michael's Catholic School visited eight different hands-on stations to learn about having a healthy heart.

The stations taught students about everything from blood pressure and pacemakers to what snacks are heart healthy.

The day is part of a week long program sponsored by Kansas City Heart Foundation and the Carondelet Heart Institute.
