KANSAS CITY, Kansas - The new Healthy Kids Initiative in the Rosedale neighborhood in Kansas City, Kansas is kicking off a new walking club.
The goal of the walking club is to encourage exercise.
The theme of the walking club is walking, fun, community and neighborhood service projects.
Mayor Joe Reardon is the invited guest for the Thursday kickoff at Fisher Park near Lake Avenue and Springfield Park.
I was also invited to participate in the walk because of my recent Change of Heart initiative to eat healthy and exercise..
