KANSAS CITY, Missouri - In the past 30 years, our nation’s childhood obesity rate has nearly tripled.

As a result, children today are developing adult health problems like high blood pressure and cholesterol.

This is why the Primrose Schools of Kansas City are working to promote healthy living in their classrooms and in our communities with the “Family Dance-off,” competition, benefitting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Starting Feb. 1 through March 19, Kansas City families are encouraged to submit a 30-second dance videos to www.FamilyDanceoff.com showing off their dance skills for a chance to win $5,000 in cash AND a $30,000 donation to the KU Medical Center.
