Thinking she would get a Thanksgiving turkey, single mom gets Jeep stuffed with toys instead

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Just days before Thanksgiving - a single mom got two big surprises.
Marla Shannon of Kansas City, Kansas thought she was just getting a turkey for Thanksgiving. She also got a free 2007 Jeep Cherokee - donated by Progressive Insurance and A-and-B Carstar.
Marla runs an in-home daycare and has a 10-year-old son in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.
"It is absolutely amazing. Our car has been on its last leg and we've been on god's good graces getting everywhere and it couldn't have been a better gift for us," said Marla Shannon, who received the car.
The Jeep wasn't the only gift donated to the family. When Marla opened trunk - it was full of christmas presents for her son.
