KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The hand grenades found in a Midtown business were fakes, according to the Kansas City Police Department.

The bomb squad was called to the Cornerstones of Care building in the 300 block of E. 36th Street after an employee reported finding two grenades in a box inside.

Police had blocked off Warwick between 36th and Armour as a precaution before determining there was no threat.
