KANSAS CITY, Missouri - A teacher at a Kansas City charter school is suspended after allegedly taping the mouth of a six year old student shut.
According to our partners at the Kansas City Star, the alleged incident happened Tuesday at Della Lamb Charter school.
The parents reported the allegation to police who went to the school and talked with teachers and administrators. School administrators say they learned of the allegation on Thursday.
No charges were filed, and no arrests were made.
The teacher has been suspended by the school pending an investigation. Missouri child welfare authorities also are investigating.
