Dozens of people marched through Kansas City on Wednesday for a May Day immigration rally.
The group chanted " Sí, se puede" -- "Yes, we can" in Spanish -- and held signs saying "Campaign for citizenship".
May Day is known as the International Day of the Worker. Wednesday's prayer vigil was meant to show compassion for Hispanic immigrants in the U.S. and support for immigration reform.
President Barack Obama is expected to address the issue Thursday from Mexico.
