KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A new campaign in Kansas City is designed to help victims of discrimination.
The Anti-Discrimination Initiative will help inform people of discrimination laws in areas like housing, employment or public accommodations.
"It's not always overt," explained Paul Pierce, civil rights investigator. "There are some employers and housing providers that will push the envelope, so to speak. We just want out citizens to know they're protected.”
The campaign includes ads, billboards and a radio show.
Investigators say you can also report discrimination online via the city's website, www.kcmo.org.
