COLUMBIA, Missouri - He was being held Friday in the Boone County Jail on $100,000 cash bond. It was not clear if he had a lawyer, and efforts to contact him were unsuccessful.

Witnesses told police Nenninger came to Stephens Lake Park looking for his ex-girlfriend and demanded she hand over the baby.

The witnesses said the woman refused and Nenninger sprayed Mace, hitting the baby and several bystanders with the chemical.
