KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Many residents are upset with the appearance of the 40 Highway corridor, but there may be a change coming.

Wednesday night, a meeting was held at Brush Creek Community Center, to discuss the future of the 15-mile corridor from Kansas City to Blue Springs, Mo.

Community members shared their ideas Wednesday, but the project is in the early stages.

"These things take time. People have to realize we're not looking to change anything tomorrow. We're just gathering ideas," said project manager Britt Palberg.

Plans for the 40 Highway corridor will be determined later this fall or winter.
