KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The controversial billboard of artist Albert Bitterman taking aim at the Scout statue has been taken down.
The billboard in the Crossroads District near 19th and Baltimore created a controversy as some said it was art and others said it was hate.
Moses Brings Plenty spoke out against the billboards.
“I saw hate,” he said.
“People can say whatever they want about my image, and they will, whether it’s true or not,” Bitterman said in a blog post.
Bitterman’s piece originally won an art competition, but was later rejected for its controversy.
