KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The southbound lanes of I-29 at 64th Street are back open after an accident closed all lanes of traffic Friday night.

Shortly before 7:00 p.m., crews were called to I-29 south of 56th Street after a multi-vehicle crash was reported.

Police say a car with three passengers pulled over on the shoulder of the road after it overheated. A second car then hit them from behind. Serious injuries have been reported.
