KANSAS CITY, Mo. – - A house fire in northeast Kansas City has prompted authorities to close the street in front of the home.
The fire started a little before noon near Ninth and Indiana. It was reported to be under control within 10 minutes.
Crews have closed Ninth Street in both directions between Benton and Bales.
There was no immediate word on if anybody was inside the house when the fire started or if anyone was injured.
