KANSAS CITY, Mo. - - The nation’s first president was remembered Monday, on the President’s holiday.
Members of the Kansas City Daughters of the American Revolution held a ceremony at the Statue of Washington at Valley Forge in Washington Square Park in Crown Center.
Men dressed in colonial uniforms and someone was chosen to place a wreath at the moment.
