Della Lamb has enough toys, but needs more financial contributions

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It's the time of year when many local organizations are working even harder to help families in need and Della Lamb needs your help.
A spokeswoman for the organization told 41 Action News they have enough toys for the families they serve, but need more financial contributions.
They are short thousands of dollars compared to past years.
"The contribution money right now would help pay for frozen turkeys and holiday groceries, for families that we serve for Christmas, over 695 families, It would help pay for new sweat suits, new socks, and underwear for those children,” said Judy Akers, executive vice president of Della Lamb.
