KANSAS CITY, Mo. - - Despite being thousands of miles from their homeland, dozens of Syrians gathered in Kansas City Sunday to let the world know what is happening in their country.
The group held a protest outside at the J.C. Nichols Fountain on the County Club Plaza. The group says the current Assad regime has declared war on the people of Syria.
Protesterssay so far, more than 5400 people have been killed, many of them bystanders. Protesters also say their government is starving people and executing innocent people
