KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A motorcycle driver died early Thursday after he apparently struck a parked vehicle in Kansas City.
According to police on the scene of the accident, the unidentified driver was headed westbound on 44th Street near Hardesty around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday when he hit the vehicle.
The driver was thrown from the motorcycle and transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
