KANSAS CITY, Mo. - MoDot is looking for public input on replacing the U.S. 69 bridges over the Missouri River.
The department is conducting an environmental study to address the deteriorating bridge conditions on the historic Fairfax and Platte Purchase Bridges while considering the impact of the replacement project.
Some possible alternatives for the project include leaving the bridges as they are, removal of the Fairfax Bridge only and removing the Fairfax Bridge and building a new companion bridge.
You can offer comments on the MoDot website until Nov. 27.
