PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. - The family has identified the woman killed in Friday’s crash.
Tiffany Mogenson was killed after being hit the intersection of 75th and Roe in Prairie Village.
On Friday, the Tiffany’s husband, Mike, released this statement saying, “She was the love of my life… the lesson in this we all need to love as much as we can while we’re together.”
He went on to say, “Tiffany was beautiful person who positively touched so many others’ lives.”
Roy Lee Maney, 32, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter-DUI in Mogenson’s death.
Maney was reportedly speeding in his Mercedes when a police officer tried to make a traffic stop. When Maney didn’t pull over, the cop backed off.
Maney then hit another car at the intersection of 75th and Roe and attempted to flee the scene. Police later arrested him a few blocks away at 78th and Roe.
Mogenson was just 19 blocks from her home when the accident happened.
