Family: Missing Kansas City man may be off his medication

KANSAS CITY, Missouri - The family of a 34-year-old Kansas City man has reported him missing.

Carlos E. Shaver was last seen around noon Monday near 63rd Street and Troost Avenue, an area he reportedly likes to frequent.

Shaver is a black man, stands about 6 foot 2, and weighs 240 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

His family says he suffers several mental disorders and may be off his medications. They are concerned for his safety.
