Arson fire damages school playground

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - An arson fire Wednesday morning caused extensive damage to an elementary school playground.
The fire was reported just after 6 a.m. at Troost Elementary School, 1215 E. 59th St.
The playground is located in the back of the building, near the intersection of 60th and Forest.
Damage is estimated at $30,000.
There was no immediate word on any suspects.
