Friends, family search for missing mother last seen Sunday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Friends and family of 21-year-old Essence Willoughby are spending their Tuesday searching for a sign of the missing young mother.

Willoughby was last seen Sunday outside a corner store at 55th and Paseo Boulevard. Witnesses told Willoughby's family they saw her arguing with a man believed to be her boyfriend.

Willoughby's family told 41 Action News she planned to attend church with her boyfriend and their two young sons Sunday. They do not believe Willoughby ever made it to church.

Willoughby's loved ones say they fear the worst because Essence is never out of contact and they have not seen her for more than two days.
