KANSAS CITY, Mo. - An unlikely pair is up for adoption at KC Pet Project.
Cheddars the hen and Quackers the duck were surrendered by their owner earlier this month.
Staff at KC Pet Project says the two are inseparable and they hope to adopt both of them out to one loving home.
"We would really for them to go to a home together,” KC Pet Project’s Tori Fugate said. “They came in together, they spend all of their time together, they groom each other and they're just really the cutest couple so we would really like for them to stay together."
Cheddars and Quakers can be adopted as a pair for $20.
KC Pet Project can provide general care for the animals, but would prefer they go to a home that can properly take care of the couple.
