KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Four people were displaced in a Friday-morning house fire in Kansas City.
The first calls came in to the fire department at about 4:45 a .m. to the 100 block of Van Brunt.
One of the residents who spoke with 41 Action News said he was heading to his place of employment to get some more sleep. Others would be temporarily staying with neighbors.
The resident said he believed the fire started in the basement. It was out within about 30 minutes.
