INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Silver Alert for a missing Independence woman has been canceled after she was safely located Sunday.
Police issued the alert for 78-year-old Joanne C. Eakin, after family members were unable to locate her after she left a local casino Saturday afternoon.
