LANSING, Kan. - A Kansas Department of Corrections inmate is back in custody after failing to show up for work release.
Zackary Conger was employed at Laser Apparel on Cody Street in Overland Park and was reported absent from work Friday.
On Saturday morning, he turned himself in to the Lenexa Police Department.
Authorities say Conger is currently serving a 78-month sentence for burglary, forgery and theft at Lansing Correctional Facility's East Unit.
